Meet Dr. Patel In Charlotte
Education
After earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Boston University Dental School in 2004, Dr. Hiren Patel practiced in Connecticut for four years. Because he found Charlotte to be a balanced place to raise a family, he made NC his home and opened Regal Oaks Dental Office in 2008.
Passionate about dentistry and learning, Dr. Patel regularly advances his knowledge with continuing education. To ensure your family has access to the most comprehensive treatment planning and advanced dental care, Dr. Patel has pursued extensive post graduate training with the prestigious Spears Institute and International Congress of Implantologists (ICOI).
Practice Philosophy
When Dr. Patel was a child, he lost a tooth and it was devastating. This experience prompted both his career and his practice philosophy … to avoid dental issues in any way he can, so you can keep your healthy smile and confidence.
Balancing old wisdom with the latest technology is Dr. Patel’s priority. He places his focus on providing a cohesive and comfortable environment for everyone under his care while taking a comprehensive approach to your treatment. Catering to your individual needs, Dr. Patel works with you to establish and preserve a relationship that’s based on your positive experience – at each dental visit.
Away From Dentistry
When Dr. Patel is not helping others or learning about the newest advances in dental treatments, he enjoys spending time with his family. He and his wife Jagruti have been married since 1999 and have two beautiful children, a daughter named Swamini and a son named Tilak. Dr. Patel is heavily involved with his temple for spiritual growth and stays active by playing tennis and golf. He enjoys traveling and learning about new cultures and reading.
Meet Dr. Mitchell In Charlotte
Education
Dr. Robert G. Mitchell was born in Asheboro and has lived in North Carolina almost all of his life, except to earn his dental degree from the oldest dental school in the world, where the Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree was created – the former Baltimore College of Dental Surgery (University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Dentistry). After earning his doctorate in 2014, Dr. Mitchell practiced for four years in Baltimore, but the call of North Carolina brought him home. He loves Charlotte and helping our community members access affordable dental care that is tailored to each patient’s needs.
Practice Philosophy
Dr. Mitchell believes that providing treatment is only part of his job as he finds it equally important to educate those he treats. Awareness, knowledge, and education are extremely important when you’re making the best choices for your family’s dental care. It is Dr. Mitchell’s intention to give your family the care that you need, the knowledge to prevent problems in the future, and a positive outlook and attitude about oral health.
Away From Dentistry
Dr. Mitchell and his wife Amanda were married in 2014 and live in south Charlotte. They share a love for cooking and traveling. In his spare time, Dr. Mitchell spends time at local YMCAs. He enjoys playing basketball, reading, and playing music with friends. Dr. Mitchell is an active supporter of the NC State Wolfpack athletics and the Carolina Panthers.
